With access to the park available through the gate on the car park at HQ you couldn't be any closer to let your group have some free time allowing the adults chance to get ready for your next activity.
Hilbre Island nature reserve is an approximately 5 mile out and back walk, departing from West Kirby. Please take care to follow the suggested routes and check the tides before departing (more info in the link below).
Having the beach only 10 minutes walk away from HQ means there are easy opportunities for sandcastle making. If you time your visit right you might even catch some Natterjack Toads in Red Rocks Marsh a short walk away along the beach.
The Sailing Centre offers group bookings with the choice of many activity options available. From sailing, to windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding
Caldy Hill is a local woodland offers some great opportunities for nature spotting, scavenger hunts or den building should you want to tick off some skills builders or badges.
For those a little more adventurous the Wirral Way follows an old abandoned railway track from West Kirby to Hooton (approx. 12 miles) with multiple spots along the way you could walk to and take a picnic.
